![]() You can get to the conservation mode setting (and several other energy managment settings) without installing Energy Management by installing the Lenovo Settings app from the Microsoft App Store. You can install it and it seems to work, but many users are reporting issues like system freezing. Apparently the current version of Lenovo Energy Management is not compatible with Windows 10. I have a Lenovo laptop upgraded to Windows 10. To confirm, you will see the Conservation Mode. ATAPI CD: PLDS wht if the battery is inbuild for lenovo ideapad 100 mine is not. Move your mouse around those icons until the Energy Manager text is displayed. Once you click on the up arrow it will show some hidden icons not normally displayed on your taskbar. This shows that you have already switched on the Conservation Mode. Click on the up arrow icon near the battery indicator located at the bottom right corner of your computer display. Move the switch from left to right with your mouse until you see an orange colored I appears. On the right hand side of the Conservation Mode is a switch like gauge. Lenovo has included a battery ‘Conservation Mode’, which prolongs your battery longevity (how long the battery will tend to last before finally needing to be replaced ) by limiting charging to battery to 55% ~ 60% of the battery capacity rather than fully charging it to 100%. On the top right corner click on Settings.
